Pastoral Care at Trinity means your son will be known, cared for and guided to grow in mind, body and spirit. He will learn in a positive, passionate and harmonious environment – one where everyone feels part of the ‘Trinity family’.
Our Secondary vertical House system provides strong peer relationships, and our Life Skills Programme nurtures emotional intelligence and wellbeing, providing your son with his best opportunity to realise his potential, passions and purpose in life.
Pastoral Care Network
Your son will be guided and mentored by a network of key staff that is fully committed to helping him progress, in and out of the classroom. By truly getting to know your son’s abilities and interests, his hopes, fears and aspirations he will be understood, encouraged and inspired in a way unique to Trinity Grammar School.
Trinity’s Pastoral Care guidelines focus on the fundamentals of good parenting – providing both care and discipline – enabling boys to grow into self-confident, resilient young men. Combined with an ongoing partnership between the School and home, your son will thrive in a consistent, caring and nurturing environment. The School Chaplaincy team and the Trinity Educational Support Services Department are also on hand to provide further support and meet your son’s mental health and spiritual needs.
At Trinity, your son will be guided to:
- value his self-worth and that of others;
- develop emotional intelligence, resilience and self-discipline;
- respect the principles of rights and responsibilities; and
- become a responsible, contributing member of society.
Our mission is to provide a thoroughly Christian education for boys, imparting knowledge and understanding of the world we live in, and recognising the importance of spiritual qualities in every sphere of learning. We actively encourage our students to grow in wisdom and stature and in favour with God and man, in order that they may become responsible, contributing members of society.
Trinity's Life Skills Programme is part of a whole School approach to health and wellbeing. In conjunction with the development of ethical, moral and religious values, its goal is to enhance boys’ capacity to be emotionally resilient and socially competent.
